Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage Meridian uses, their purpose and duration, and how to control them. We use the minimum needed to run the Service and do not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We also use related browser storage (local storage) to remember preferences on your device. Both are described below.
2. Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session (access) | Essential cookie | Keeps you signed in securely | Session / short-lived |
| Session (refresh) | Essential cookie | Renews your session without re-login | Up to its expiry |
| Two-factor pending | Essential cookie | Carries a login through the 2FA step | About 5 minutes |
| CSRF / security | Essential cookie | Protects against cross-site request forgery | Session |
| language | Preference | Remembers your chosen language | Persistent (your device) |
| sidebar-collapsed | Preference (local storage) | Remembers if the dashboard sidebar is collapsed | Persistent (your device) |
3. Strictly necessary
Essential cookies are required to sign you in, keep your session secure, and prevent cross-site request forgery. The Service cannot function without them, so they do not require consent.
4. Preferences
Preference storage keeps small choices on your device, such as your language and whether the sidebar is collapsed. It is not shared and is not used to track you.
5. No advertising or cross-site tracking
We do not use third-party advertising cookies and do not track you across other websites.
6. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the Service.
7. Changes
If our use of cookies changes, we will update this policy and the date above.
